Transitional Digital Objects
In this project, I explore compositing an autobiography in live cinema. This investigation is conducted through the idea of transitional digital objects and their ability to either bring fluidity to the compositing process or disrupt the creation of the portrait of the whole. Maya Chami, practitioner in graphic design and digital arts.
Born in Beirut in 1981, I graduated with a graphic design degree from the Lebanese American University in 2001. Later, I was selected to participate in the UNESCO online masters module on art, design and technology (2006). In 2011, I completed a masters degree in digital arts at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London. I work in graphic design and digital arts on both commissioned and personal projects and have participated in several design and digital arts events and competitions.
